How do you usually work with clients?

In short:
My goal is to help you create freedom in your life, in this case it will consist of starting a creative freelance business that makes you good money and that you can run from wherever you want. I coach and mentor Digital Designers & Creatives through to becoming a successful creative entrepreneur by sharing the tools they need to do that.

Why
Designers and creatives are usually the tech polymaths of the modern world. This means they share a lot of traits and skills with successful entrepreneurs such as creativity, leadership and problem-solving (among many others).

Unfortunately, many creatives don’t dare going into full-time entrepreneurship because of uncertainty. Often they have so many questions that will put them in paralysis by analysis:

  • How much should I charge?
  • How do I get a solid flow of clients?
  • How can I travel and work at the same time?
  • What steps should I take and in what order?

What we do
To change this pattern, you should look at the difference between a struggling creative and a successful one. The successful creative puts in place the right systems to ensure their business is a success as they: 

  1. Have an inspiring vision of their life and business;
  2. Cultivate the mindset and thinking strategies they need to succeed;
  3. Develop habits that align with their vision and goals;
  4. Know exactly who they serve and how, and are inspired by it.

This allows them to do work that is fulfilling and charge really good money for it.

I was that struggling creative, and after investing lots of time and money in making my business work, I found the way to do it.

I want to help you create the same for you and start your entrepreneurship journey with the guidance I wish I had 8 years ago when I gave my first (miserable) shot at freelancing.

So you can get that ultimate freedom, all you have to do is being open minded and willing to do the work to get there. I’ll be with you on your journey and will help you overcome the obstacles you’ll face.

What can I expect from the call?

We’re going to be doing a high level analysis of your current freelancing efforts so we can determine the root issue of what’s NOT working in your business, and once we’re both clear on what’s going on there, we’ll discuss your goals. If we determine working together is your next best step toward achieving your goals, then we’ll talk about that. If it ends up not being a fit, I’ll still point you in the direction of resources that will help you.

Who is Rick Veronese?

In 2013 I started my Design career as a Web Designer, being self-taught I had no idea what to do and how to make it as a freelancer. In 2016, after three years of struggle, I decided that freelancing just wasn’t for me. I got a UX Design qualification and found a job as a UX/UI Designer working for a company the year after.

After being laid off twice in the span of 6 months in 2019, and after realizing job security was an illusion, I approached freelancing for a second time.

After a rocky start riddled with self-doubt and imposter syndrome, I decided to invest in coaching to see more results, which resulted in my first £10K ($13K) project, and many more after that.

Today I help Digital Designers & Creatives create the business they need to achieve the freedom they want in their life. By working with me you will quit your job, get clients and design your dream lifestyle.
